About Wiser Minds

Wiser Minds is an opportunity to continue the connection, mutual support, and attentional/social/emotional skills training to help us to be more caring of ourselves and more effective with our loved ones.

Members of Wiser Minds are parents, families, and loved-ones of a person suffering from borderline personality disorder who have completed a 12-week DBT workshop for families and have a basic understanding of dialectical behavior therapy. This includes an approach that is empathic, validating, and compassionate and the skillful means to effect behavioral change (in one’s self and in others).
